The retreat takes place at Spring Bank Manor Hotel in Darwen, Lancashire and is designed as a one-day event. If you're travelling from further afield, there are accommodation options available nearby which can be booked separately.

Do I need Pilates experience?
Not at all. The Pilates session is designed to be welcoming and accessible for all levels, including complete beginners.

Absolutely. Many women attend solo and quickly make connections within the community. You'll be warmly welcomed from the moment you arrive.
Is the walk suitable for beginners?
The walk is designed to be enjoyable and accessible for most fitness levels. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
What if I don't drink alcohol?
That's completely fine. Non-alcoholic options will be available during the gin-making and tasting experience.
What's included in the price?

What should I bring?
We recommend comfortable activewear, walking shoes, a water bottle, a light waterproof layer and anything else you need to feel comfortable throughout the day.

Can I stay overnight at Spring Bank Manor Hotel?
Absolutely! If you're travelling from further away or fancy making a weekend of it, you can book a room at Spring Bank Manor Hotel the night before, subject to availability. They often have weddings on weekends, so we'd recommend booking early if you'd like to stay.

ACTIVE ODYSSEY COMMUNITY EXPERIENCES – TERMS & PARTICIPATION WAIVER
Active Odyssey offers free community walks, hikes, day tours and meet-ups designed to create opportunities for movement, connection and access to the outdoors with like-minded people.
These experiences are community-based and are offered free of charge. Participation is voluntary and by booking an experience you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Participation in outdoor activities and physical exercise involves inherent risks which cannot be completely eliminated. Risks may include, but are not limited to, uneven terrain, slips, trips, falls, weather conditions, physical exertion, illness, injury, accidents, environmental hazards and the actions of other participants.
- By booking and participating, you acknowledge these risks and voluntarily accept responsibility for your participation.
- You confirm that you are physically and medically fit to participate and accept responsibility for determining whether an activity is suitable for your own health, fitness level and abilities.
- Participants are responsible for bringing suitable clothing, footwear, medication, food, water and any personal equipment required.
- Certain experiences may be hosted, organised or led by independent hosts. Unless specifically stated otherwise, these hosts are independent individuals operating in their own capacity and are not employees, agents, partners or representatives of Active Odyssey.
- Active Odyssey may act solely as a facilitator or promoter of certain community experiences and does not control or supervise independent hosts or assume responsibility for the conduct, acts, omissions or services of independent hosts.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, by completing your booking you agree to release and waive claims against Active Odyssey, its founders, organisers, volunteers and representatives for loss, damage, injury, expense or claims arising from participation in an experience, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
