Who We Are

Active Odyssey's mission is to redefine how women experience the world — through bold, inclusive, and unforgettable experiences that inspire growth, build community, and celebrate diversity. By encouraging an active and outdoor lifestyle, we empower women to embrace movement and exploration as essential elements of their journey.

What We Do

We curate unique travel experiences for women, taking them off the well-trodden paths to discover hidden gems and immerse in inspiring environments and activities. Our adventures are designed to encourage confidence, resilience, and energy through active and outdoor pursuits, from Hiking hidden trails and mountains to winter tours including ski & snowboarding, Kayaking emerald waters, and quad biking in the Sahara.

We aim to craft unforgettable experiences that promote personal development & connection.

We welcome beginners on our tours (unless specified as advanced), and we provide fitness tools and resources through a fitness app to help individuals connect and prepare before their trips. We want everyone to feel capable of achieving things they may have thought were beyond reach, and we aspire to assist with the preparation to enhance confidence and physical ability. Our aim is to ensure accessibility for as many women as possible.

Why We’re Looking for Ambassadors

We're building something bigger than just trips and tours—we're growing a movement. To do that, we need passionate, purpose-driven women who share our vision and want to help create more opportunities for exploration, and empowerment.

By bringing on more hosts & ambassadors, we can expand our reach, offer more frequent and varied events, and create space for even more women to step into the outdoors and try something new. Whether it’s hosting a meet-up, leading a weekend retreat, or co-creating new experiences in inspiring locations, our hosts will be key to building and nurturing this community from the ground up.

This is about giving back, growing together, and making the outdoors—and the magic that comes with it—more accessible and welcoming for all women.

Understanding Your Role as an Ambassador

The Role

As an Ambassador, you’ll be a core part of the growth of this community, connecting with women in your local area. We ask that you commit to organising an agreed number of meet ups, these can be outdoor gatherings like hikes, group activities, or casual social events. Additionally, we encourage Ambassadors to represent Active Odyssey within their communities by:

Engaging with Local Members: Be the administrator for your area’s local Active Odyssey Facebook Page.
Organising Activities: Arrange outdoor or adventure-based meet-ups that reflect the interests of your community and the values of Active Odyssey.
Organizing Local Events: Plan and host meet-ups, workshops, or outdoor adventures that cater to the interests and needs of your local community.
Creating a Supportive Environment: Ensure that all members feel welcome, valued, and encouraged to participate.

How Will We Support You

In return, we’re here to support you every step of the way. As a Host and ambassador, you’ll have access to resources that will help you grow your network, strengthen your leadership skills, and deepen your connection with the community. Our support includes:

Social Media Growth Support: Tips, templates, and strategies to help you build and engage your local Facebook group and connect with a wider audience.
Event Planning Resources: Guidance on organizing meet-ups, finding venues or outdoor spots, and creating meaningful experiences that resonate with your community.
Marketing Materials: Access to materials, digital content, and templates to help you promote events and grow your presence locally.
Networking Opportunities: Attend ambassador meet-ups where you’ll connect with other hosts, exchange ideas, and gain insights on growing your group effectively.
Local weekend retreat opportunities for our non-profit initiative: Support in planning or the opportunity to host paid weekend retreats to further develop your leadership and event-planning skills.
Big Trip Hosting Opportunities: Exclusive opportunity to become a host for our global trips, giving you the chance to lead once-in-a-lifetime experience for members around the world. All expenses & paid international tours to unique destinations.
