BEST trip ever. So much adventure mixed with so much serenity. I booked the trip to Madeira and I couldn't have asked for more from Active Odyssey. The attention to detail was second to none, down to the little gift bags and snacks on arrival. The food was amazing, company was wholesome and views were out of this world. A lot of activities included, including hikes (that you wouldn't find easily without a guide), canyoning, yoga and meditation, sightseeing and more. I would highly HIGHLY recommend booking this trip (or any others as I imagine the same amount of work goes into them all) as you will not regret it. We packed so much in whilst also having a good amount of down time and time to connect with others - great value and I'll be booking again. Huge thanks to Active Odyssey

The best week, so we'll organised and the perfect itinerary! A brilliant blend of activities, mindfulness, exercise and even a little sightseeing. Not to mention the food which was amazing and cooked by local chefs. An amazing first retreat, introduction to mindfulness and has got me into some great habits after too. The other ladies there was so easy to get on with an like minded. 12/10 recommend!!!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by Corrine our host who ensured that everything was perfect and that everyone was happy. She was calm and professional even with things beyond her control like flight delays she remained calm and professional and put everyone at ease. The accommodations was outstanding and the food was to die for. Every night, our talented chef prepared fresh mouthwatering meals, taking into account everyone's food preferences. It wasn't just the activities and accommodations that made this experience unforgettable. It was the connections and friendships that I made with the other like-minded women on the trip. We bonded over shared experiences and supported each other throughout the journey. I came back feeling re-energized as this experience truly had a positive impact on both my physical and mental well-being. I can't recommend Active Odyssey enough. The planning and attention to detail were second to none and the incredible experiences provided make it a truly exceptional company. What an amazing weekend with a new group of women. From the first hug Corrine makes you feel welcome and regardless of whether you're naturally an introvert or extrovert and anything in-between, you feel a part of the group. Love how open and engaged everyone was. Such fun learning to wake surf with the screams and shouts of encouragement coming from the boat just packing that confidence boost!! 🧡🧡🧡

The tours are very well planned out and allow women to bond in a way that ensures you will make me friends for life. The staff are caring, compassionate and an amazing amount of fun. The activities are exciting and taught in a very supportive environment ensuring a good time. I can't wait to go on another tour with AO!

Life changing is the only word that I can use to describe what I experienced on this retreat. I woke up this morning, went for a walk. Did some yoga and I wasn’t doing this prior to the retreat. I always wanted to but I didn’t have the confidence before.I couldn’t have asked for a better host or crew of women.I was the only one from the US and I felt like I’d known these people for my entire life . I couldn’t have imagined I’d meet such and amazing group of women in my life!I was so nervous but, everyone made me feel so comfortable, it was such a welcoming environment. Corrine's energy fed out positive vibes the entire time! We did some many activities that I never thought I would do… I climbed a mountain! It was challenging but being surrounded by this group girls made everything so much better. Everyone supported and motivated me … I never felt that I was less than anybody even though I have never hiked more than 2 miles before the trip. Truly the best experience of my life and I will definitely be attending another excursion in the future!
